Things to do and see

Shropshire provides some of the best walks in the country. When staying here you are recommended to undertake some of the excellent local trails. Some of these walks include, 'Withins walk', 'Sunnyhill Walk', 'Bury Ditches Walk', 'The Marches' and 'Offas Dyke'.

For those of you who wish to bring your cycles on holiday, there are a few cycle trails you can enjoy as well. Take a look at the 'Cycle Trail', 'Bury Ditches Hill Fort' and also an explanation of the Red, Green, Amber, Blue and Black routes all provided by 'The Forestry Commision'.

Other events and local attractions in and around the area include the excellent 'Discovery Centre', 'Ludlow Markets', 'Ludlow Marches Food and Drink Festival', 'Ludow Festival' and not forgetting the brilliant 'Clun Valley Beer Festival'.
